About Rewired Creatives, Inc.
This collective of creatives is led by novelist and author Dawn Reno Langley (The Mourning Parade), along with poet Jon Obermeyer (The Reassurance of Ghosts), and #LitChat founder Carolyn Burns Bass. Together, the writers have been widely published in literary journals, national and international magazines, on blogs throughout the world, and have published more than 50 books. Dawn also holds a PhD, is a Fulbright scholar, and has been a fellow at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Vermont Studio Colony, and Weymouth Center for the Arts and Humanities. Jon has an MFA and vast experience in corporate marketing and blogs regularly for the business community. As the founder of #LitChat, Carolyn rubs elbows with literary luminaries on a regular basis, and she has been a travel and food writer, as well as a novelist and blogger, throughout her career. Among them, they have taught at many educational levels, ranging from grammar school to graduate programs, and they’ve presented at conferences throughout the world. Rewired Creatives, Inc. publishes The Writer's Hand Journals, a series of journals focused on 100 quotes from the best writers on subjects like Characterization, Setting/Place, Meditations, Words of Love, and other literary topics. Coming soon, our State of the Writer Series: North Carolina will be our first volume, with Vermont, Florida, and California will be close behind. We’ll find 100 of the best writers from each state and choose a quote representative of their work. Then, as is standard with all Writer’s Hand Journals, two blank pages for you to write your thoughts. In the upcoming months, we’ll release one collection per state. Our major focus is the word.
