Adjusting prior period’s transactions to be in compliance with GAAP. - Monthly Close and Financial Reporting: Created a strong monthly accounting and reporting process for this growing Home Health Care organization. Integrated systems into QuickBooks, provides all payroll, accounts payable and billing support. Reports full financials to board on a monthly basis. With over 20 years in corporate and public accounting, Tara leverages her expertise in technical accounting issues, financial reporting, business driver analysis and planning. Prior to founding RGA Financial Solutions, she developed the budget process, provided key metric reporting and forecasting as the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis for an $80 million professional services firm. Prior to that, She joined the executive management team of a $2 million professional services firm and within 6 years grew the financial infrastructure by establishing accounting processes, developing forecasting models and led all back office functions to a $12 million multi-office firm. She started her career with Deloitte, where she managed financial statement audits. Tara is a graduate of the Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
