Our mission is to support and advance excellent multidisciplinary academic cancer research. We aim to connect public funding with world leading researchers, maximize the impact of donations, and facilitate the communication of important research with the public at large.
We have a specific emphasis on funding infection-induced cancers (cancers caused by viruses and bacteria). We make it a priority to share the science of cancers and information on the funded scientists with our supporters through our website and various social media platforms.

Why do we do this?
(1) First, infection-induced cancers are rarely discussed, but far more common than most people realize. In fact, according to the World Health Organization, up to 25% of cancers in developing regions may be infection-induced. We have a passion to share the knowledge regarding these cancers and believe that funding groundbreaking multidisciplinary research on the topic is critical.
(2) We fund students specifically. Because student funding is traditionally limited, we want to enable brilliant students to move forward with research that may have been otherwise unfunded.
(3) We believe in improving scientific transparency and communication. We want to connect the public with scientific research, make that research easily understood, and get infection-induced cancers in common conversation. We strive to remove information barriers in science, and the barriers that make cancer research less approachable.
