Rhizome is a consulting firm that helps public health and health care organizations achieve equity and quality goals through education, research, and partnerships. Our name represents the rhizomes in nature, like some grasses, bulbs, tubers, and aspen trees, whose roots grow horizontally underground, forming a strong interconnected network that nourishes and supports its system. We believe in the power of grassroots network building for effective advocacy and system change. We know strategic action planning and implementation of evidence-based practices can help community and health care partners identify and tackle root causes that limit optimal wellness.
