About Rhode Island Farm Bureau
The Rhode Island Farm Bureau is a non-profit that advocates for all farmers in the Ocean State. Established in 1953, the RI Farm Bureau is affiliated with the American Farm Bureau. Our members include individuals concerned about the quality of their food and want to support farmers in their community, local restaurants and organizations that source their food from local growers, and all types of agriculture in Rhode Island. This includes but is not limited to RI fruit farms, family-owned orchards, dairy farms, sea food fishermen and aquaculture producers, beekeepers, viticulture, and many more. The Rhode Island Farm Bureau speaks as a collective voice of its members at the Rhode Island State House.
