rhbr is the evolution of Rhubarb Seating — a new name, with the same deep commitment to inspired design, British manufacturing. Starting in 2011, our customers span FF&E, design/build, fit-out companies, contractors, & end users, as well as larger furniture dealers. Handling projects everywhere from education, student accommodation, through to public sector buildings, hospitals & healthcare to commercial spaces, hospitality, & leisure venues. Our ranges centre on soft seating. All designed & manufactured in-house. Our service includes project space planning where standard dimensions need to be changed or creating new products from a drawing or image. Indeed, many of our current ranges started life bespoke & were then included in our portfolio. Known for turning customer needs into reality. Our manufacturing is all under our control. No element is sub-contracted. So, we accommodate specific needs – short lead times, changing foams to meet requirements, value engineering to match constraints, providing an infinite choice of fabrics. The list is endless, as we can also change sewing lines & effects such as buttoning or fluting to add impact. Re-upholstery is a rapidly growing part of our work, driven largely by the sustainability focus. We’ve seen & refurbished a huge number of sofas, office chairs, task chairs to wood & metal frame chairs. We also have the best value range of industrial & technical seating with options for specialist environments including medical clean & static safe areas. Our beam seating is in hospitals, A&Es, immigration centres & prisons due to its renowned strength - our bariatric seating is rated to 50 stone. Our approach is founded on the needs of our customers. We’re confident in what we offer; reflected in our 6-year manufacturing warranty (except for the 24/7 seating & beanbags).
