Ribbon Community supports and empowers our communities in overcoming the impacts of HIV and HIV stigma.
We were proudly founded as AIDS Vancouver in 1983, and changed our name to Ribbon Community, Ribbon for short, in March 2024. We continue to evolve our programs to welcome our communities and meet the current needs of people living with, and at risk of HIV, today.
Our services include individual client services (peer navigators, case managers, income tax clinic, aging at home volunteer supports), accurate and stigma-free information about HIV, financial assistance, and food security program.
