RiboEdge Biotech is a Johannesburg-based biotechnology startup pioneering RNA-based therapeutics for neglected infectious diseases in Africa starting with Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF). With a focus on siRNA drug design, we are developing precision therapies that silence key viral genes of CCHFV, a deadly BSL-4 pathogen endemic in parts of Africa, Europe, and Asia. We combine bioinformatics, RNA biology, and African disease insights to deliver scalable, data-driven therapeutic solutions that address the continent’s most overlooked viral threats. Our long-term vision is to build Africa’s first RNA therapeutics powerhouse—one that translates world-class science into real-world public health impact.
