RiboLab is working to understand the mechanisms underlying protein synthesis in living organisms. Using methods from signal processing, physics, and thermodynamics, we have developed a new biophysical model which simulates the physical interactions involved in protein synthesis. We aim to produce proteins that have failed to produce at the desired level for applications in biotechnology, bio-fuels, bio-pharmaceuticals, and agriculture.
