About Rice University | English as a Second Language Program (ESL)
Welcome to the English as a Second Language Program at Rice University. We provide non-native speakers of English the opportunity to improve their language skills in small classes that use an integrated-skills approach. We offer the daytime Intensive English Program, the online English Success in the workplace Program and the evening ESL Communication Skills Program. We have taught English as a second Language to students from Houston and around the world since 1978.
