RichBrook Advisors, LP (“RichBrook”) is a New York-based asset management firm specializing in consumer lending assets including mortgage, student and unsecured consumer loans and securitizations. RichBrook is primarily focused on assets in the United States. We aim to combine our more than twenty years’ of experience with complex models and analytics to uncover investment opportunities. We evaluate originator, servicer and borrower behavior to help unlock value and minimize risk, employing a relative value approach to investing in Mortgage-Backed (“MBS”) and Asset-Backed (“ABS”) security strategies. We attempt to uncover inefficiencies within mortgage and asset-backed loans and securities resulting from market and structural complexities. RichBrook seeks complimentary assets and hedging tools to protect against prevailing market risks, including prepayment, interest rate and credit risks. Our objective is to deliver absolute returns which are uncorrelated to other asset classes. Disciplined risk management techniques are used in conjunction with models to help understand and minimize risks while identifying new opportunities. This includes modeling both the willingness and ability of consumers to pay their debts as well as the probability that these borrowers will payoff those debts earlier than expected. Our years’ of experience in the MBS and ABS markets provide our investors with potentially unique access to co-investment opportunities while our boutique size allows for the nimble deployment of capital in opportunities that we believe offer superior returns. ■ Experience across consumer lending products – Agency MBS, mortgage origination and securitization, student loan origination and securitization, and consumer loans. ■ History of success building new businesses and recognizing opportunities – Senior members of team that built a new student loan origination and securitization platform and fintech mortgage lending platform.
