Richee was a revolutionary FinTech project developed from the ground up by Takeplace, envisioned and led by Jaroslav Skrabalek and his exceptional team. Designed with a bold, forward-thinking mindset, Richee aimed to redefine the relationship between consumers and their finances. Pioneering a mobile-first, user-centric experience, Richee leveraged PSD2 Open Banking standards to seamlessly integrate financial products from multiple providers.
A standout feature was its innovative “purchasing platform,” which allowed users to optimize daily purchases through smart combinations of various financial tools. Richee also introduced a Digital Guide powered by advanced machine learning, offering predictive financial insights and empowering users to realize their goals.
At its core, Richee embraced a gamified approach to personal finance—turning financial management into an engaging, educational, and even enjoyable experience, boosting user literacy and motivation.
While the project was ultimately acquired by Creditas Bank, which unfortunately did not fulfill many of the original promises and planned innovations, Richee remains a landmark example of how visionary design, cutting-edge technology, and deep user empathy can come together to disrupt traditional banking.
