Richwood Solar Project

Richwood Solar is a proposed renewable energy project with 250-megawatt (MW) of solar and a 50MW battery energy storage system (BESS) on approximately 1,435 acres of land in Leesburg, Claibourne, and Taylor Townships, Union County, Ohio. The project offers a new source of economic development for the community, with new sources of revenue for schools and government services.
