Rick's Cloud is an award winning blog founded by SaaS industry veteran and entrepreneur, Rick Blaisdell. We provide (in plain language) insights for monitoring industry trends and implementing the latest cloud-based and AI technologies for today's enterprises. Rick has been working on SaaS products in one form or another for over 25 years and now wants to share his experience, network, and capital to help early-stage SaaS companies. Early-on in his career, he co-founded successful companies like Silver Cloud Software and Barefoot. These started as small SaaS companies that have grown over 25 years and are still in business today. As CTO at ConnectEDU, they grew from 500k to 22 MM users in 4 years. Then at Motus they grew it from a valuation of $14 MM to $1.5 Billion over 5 years. Now we're looking for great ideas from the next generation of SaaS companies to work with.
