Since 1982 RICOTEST is the first Italian institute involved in Research, Inspection, Testing and Certification of personal protective equipment (PPE) for working, sport and outdoor. Our laboratories analyze and certify finished products such as footwear, gloves, clothing, impact protection devices and related materials relying on an extensive range of physico-mechanical and chemical tests conducted to ensure compliance to applicable standards demanded by the market.
RICOTEST is a Notified Body for the Certification of personal protective equipment and was among the founding members of the European Coordination of Notified Bodies, that is a voluntary permanent discussion table involved in interpretation activities of harmonised standards.
