Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance (RICTA) LTD.

RICTA is a not-for-profit organization representing the Rwanda Internet community. It comprises different ICT institutions and individuals. It was formed in 2005 with the objective of managing the .RW country code top level domain and the Rwanda internet exchange point. RICTA is a not for profit organization that represent the interests of the internet community. RICTA's primary mission is to act as the .RW registry and provide registry services such as registrar management, domain name registration, domain name renewal, domain name dispute settlement services, and to maintain the entire register system. RICTA's ultimate objective is to promote Internet usage through the development and the creation of a large Rwandan Internet domain name space. Therefore, all processes to acquire a domain name were simplified, and RICTA shall make sure anybody, willing to register a .RW domain name, is facilitated.
