Founded in London in 2015, Ridewithlocal is an online marketplace for action sports that connects clients with verified professional instructors and schools from around the world. Its not just about the "riders", as an international team of passionate action sport enthusiasts we also recognise the importance of giving exposure to the "locals" in this under developed markets. Bu putting the riders and locals in direct touch, our platform advances both parties' interests. In just under a year, we have changed the game in action sports travel, attracting top snowboard pros such as Nicolas Muller as advocates, signing up over 600 locals from over 40 countries and offering savvy riders everything from an exclusive surf and yoga camp in Morocco to a heliboarding mission in Canada with top snowboard pro DCP. Ridewithlocal team continues to works with and supports local communities to develop local scenes, for example by providing surf safety training for Sri Lankan instructors and sponsoring beach trash hunts in France.
