Riding the storm was founded in July 2019 by Ryan Harland.
The project originated with Ryan writing his memoirs titled Riding the storm, about his childhood growing up and living with his mental illness.
It is now used to spread awareness of mental health as this is a subject that is very much overlooked and not spoken about enough.
Ryan himself suffered with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and knows all too well of the struggles that mental health impacts on daily life.
We've come up with the slogan Listening Saves Lives so that people know it's ok to speak out and hopefully encourage others to talk about their feelings instead of holding them in.
By wearing/using the Riding the Storm range you can help spread the message, start the conversation and remind others they are not alone and that it's ok to talk about mental health.
