About Rights in Writing

Rights in Writing strives to promote dialogue, foster greater understanding, and highlight new perspectives on human rights issues within the U of T community and beyond. Our current affairs blog Rights Now seeks to provide compelling, interdisciplinary perspectives on emerging human rights issues. The Charter: Journal of Human Rights, showcases in-depth analysis of human rights issues from a variety of disciplines including: history, economics, political science, ethics, sociology, psychology, environmental science, health studies, and gender studies. In all of our endeavors, we aim to combine compassion and respect for human rights, with area-specific expertise and sound policy analysis.
