The Rihla Initiative for Green Economic Growth is a flagship project of the Bourse & Bazaar Foundation that seeks to advance climate finance and green industrial cooperation between the Gulf and the Global South. It aims to position the Gulf states as proactive contributors to global sustainable development through investment, innovation, and partnership. Rihla engages a network of young professionals, policymakers, and institutional partners to shape forward-looking approaches to climate and economic policy. It focuses on four priority regions: the Middle East and North Africa, Central Asia and the Caucasus, South and Southeast Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Through strategic convenings, the Initiative fosters dialogue and collaboration across sectors and geographies to define a Gulf vision for sustainable investment and develop actionable frameworks for long-term regional impact.
