Founded by electrical engineer Joseph Adlin, Rimed has developed and manufactured seven generations of transcranial Doppler (TCD) systems to date, with each successive generation establishing new standards for TCD solutions. We were the first to introduce the PC-based peripheral vascular Doppler, as well as the customizable “summary screen” concept. The company now offers the Auto-Track™ automatic signal tracking feature, in addition to an imaging module for insonation of the carotid arteries using a linear probe and the intracranial arteries using a phased array probe.
