Rios For D.C City Council (Ward 2)

Angel Rios is a; community advocate and organizer, former small business owner, Washington resident, former Congressional Candidate, political fundraiser, and consultant, running for D.C City Council to represent the Second Ward of the City of Washington. A Democrat; Angel is committed to equity, equality, justice, and achieving a viable future for every Washingtonian. That said, as a resident, National Chair of the Democratic Campaign Committee, and a consultant, Angel has sat in the restaurants, living rooms, public facilities, and parks of the Second Ward, and Washington as a whole, and knows that our current path can't be the one we continue to travel, if we want to thrive today and in the years to come. From crime to housing, education to social mobility, Washingtonians are tired of a stagnant government seemingly only capable of maintaining the status quo. That's why he's committed to furthering Democratic principles through common sense reform and legislative pursuits that'll further the City we all call home, and the neighborhoods in the Second Ward that make up our backyard.
