Rise and Shine Inc. is an innovative 501c-3 workforce development training program to teach people to become bakers. We provide people with employment barriers the opportunity to make a living wage in a fulfilling career. We serve individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, those in addiction recovery, individuals currently or formerly incarcerated and survivors of domestic violence. In addition to the training program, the Rise and Shine Bakery social enterprise consists of a wholesale and retail bakery that will support the operations of the program and can be replicated in other communities.
