The BoCF is a small nonprofit with an International profile. We envision a Chesapeake Bay Watershed with clean air clean water, free from public health hazards, and providing public access to” green spaces and blue waters” along the water’s edge. We have a history of exhibiting the numerous contributions African Americans have made through the maritime and seafood processing industries. To the surprise and fascination of many, Blacks were sailmakers, boat builders, and owners of seafood processing plants! Here at the BoCF, we will continue to elevate Black voices.
