RISe Foundation Malta

RISe Malta offers a community-based rehabilitation and reintegration programme to inmates seeking to re-enter society conventionally. The foundation embraces principles of restorative justice and aims to repair the harm done to society by helping offenders desist from the criminal lifestyle and seek out conventional alternatives in life. The programme includes an educational skill-based component and a therapeutic component to facilitate one's rehabilitation and reintegration. The intervention and concepts within the programme are based on the latest research to ensure evidence-based practice. Justice towards society is not served by merely sending a person to prison, but to work with that person to not commit another crime. We offer guidance, support and therapy to our service users and their families; while also ensuring security within the community.
