Wouldn't you just LOVE an adventure into the Norwegian forest? All year? Sleeping under the stars, in a heated tent (with rooftop-windows), cook meals over the fire and enjoy the sound of NATURE? We for sure love to do this - that's why we rent out our beautiful gamme from Arctic Lavvo in Kautokeino, Norway, to people that would like to experience nature all year without having to buy expensive gear and carry more than they can manage into the woods. The gamme (tent) is equipped with an oven that not only heats up the tent, but you can cook on it, mattresses, blankets, gear to cook, drinking water and firewood. All you need to bring is clothes, sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, food and whatever you would like to drink besides water. The gamme is located a 25 minutes walk into the forest in Bærum, 20 minutes from Oslo. You can also drive (4WD) up and park 50 meters from the location, but then you miss out on some of the experience ;-) You can bring your friends (up to 6 people in the tent), your family, your colleagues, your girl/boyfriend and your pet...we recommend that you bring your kids, they bring out the explorer in the adults and always have a great time. If you have too much to carry, we can drive your gear up to the Rise Above Parking with an ATW. There is an outside "cook & chill" area with a table and chairs/couch, lots of marked trails for walking or skiing and the surroundings are MAGIC! If you're in luck you'll even meet an elk, a deer or a fox sneaking around :-) Birds, squirrels and mice are also present.
