I can: - Advise on multi-lingual meeting setups on Zoom, helping your meeting to run smoothly. - Provide interpretation between French and English (simultaneous and consecutive). - Translate from French to or edit your texts in natural, flowing English. - Translate and provide UK certification of your official documents from French into English (e.g. birth certificates) -Help you to ensure your products and marketing appeal to English-speaking markets. -Post-edit French to English MT texts to a high level, based on years of translation and PEMT experience. - I also provide online training for parents who are freelancers or aspiring freelancers. I’m Rosalind (Roz) Howarth, and I have been a French <>English Interpreter and French to English Translator for the past 16 years. HR and employee relations is the area I enjoy working in the most, and I am also passionate about politics. I regularly interpret in court and translate legal documents, and I cover finance, business and IT. In June 2024 I gave my first conference talk at the ITI Conference in Edinburgh, and I also coordinate and host online Zoom events for the ITI Parent and Carer Network. I am a mum to two girls aged 11 and 13, and I am committed to helping working parents who are freelancers or aspiring freelancers. My 'Making the Leap to Freelancing' Course is under development, and should be ready in the next couple of months. After 16 years in business, in 2024 I wanted to give my business a new lease of life, and decided on the name RISE. Not only does RISE represent positivity, but it also contains the first letter of my name, and of the names of the people dearest to me: my family: Roz, Isabelle, Simon and Emma!
