The name Rising Eagle comes from the former Warrant Officer Branch insignia known as the "Eagle Rising". Warrant Officers are highly skilled, single-track specialty officers whose primary task as a leader is to serve as a technical expert, providing valuable skills, guidance, and expertise to commanders and organizations in their particular field.
The founder of Rising Eagle retired as a CW-4 after 21 years in the US Army Med Maintenance Branch.
