Rising Sideways

Traditional career development cannot keep up with the pace of change and uncertainty in the world today. Being able to pivot, constantly learn and adapt are now crucial life skills needed to future proof our careers. However, cultural norms and personal narratives about failure, success and stability prevent us from doing so. Rising Sideways (part research-editorial-coaching project) was born to encourage people to embrace the non-linear career path as a strategy to personal fulfilment and professional progression. My mission is to challenge conventional career wisdom and make changing careers feel doable for anyone, regardless of age, experience or profession.
