Les Réseaux d'Innovation et de Transfert Agricole (RITA) ont été mis en place fin 2011, pour aider les agriculteurs des filières fruits, légumes et de l’élevage à répondre à leurs problématiques grâce à l’appui du monde de la recherche et de l’expérimentation. Ils visent à accompagner le développement local des productions de diversification animale et végétale.
Afin que chaque projet soit parfaitement adapté aux besoins et spécificités locales, chaque DOM possède son RITA. Les réseaux bénéficient d’un co-financement de l’État et des Fonds Européens (FEADER).
