We are an ambitious team of researchers and students from the Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka, implementing and testing new approaches and applications based on blockchain and distributed ledger systems 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐬: • Transparency • Integrity • Decentralization 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧: • Researching key blockchain security protocols ( layer 1) • Developing sustainable, scalable applications using blockchain technology while maintaining participant privacy • Training students to be competitive in the blockchain industry • Organizing training and workshops on blockchain for all audiences 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨: • Influence the progress of blockchain technology through academic research • Educate students about blockchain and distributed ledger technologies
