River Valley Veterans Network

RVVN’s mission is to network Veterans, currently serving Guard/Reserve Members, and their families, the business community, and military support organizations together in order to make connections that lead to opportunities and raise the awareness of resources for those who have or currently wear the uniform. This mission is achieved one conversation at a time and success is measured one Veteran/Military Member at a time. The events have a format of bringing together three groups: the job seeker, community partner, and supporters. The job seeker is that Vet, currently serving Guard/Reserve Member, or family member that is looking for a job, better employment opportunities, or support. RVVN will help anyone looking for opportunities or resources, not just Vets, and we encourage Guard/Reserve Members, spouses and children of Vets to come when looking for employment or services. The employer/business is our community partner. Some are looking to hire new team members and others are looking for the right candidate with specific skills and experience. The business leaders that attend can also receive resources and connections that will enhance their HR team toolbox. Our supporters are Vets, Guard/Reserve Members, family and members of the community looking to meet other Vets or military members and help anyway they can. Veterans supporting Veterans is a major aspect of our group. Anyone supporting the military “herd” is welcome to our events. If you are an employer that is looking for a team member that will show up every day, at the right place at the right time ready to work, then you are looking for a Veteran. Are you looking for a team member with leadership skills, can work as part of a team, takes the initiative and is trainable?
