Riyadh Second Health Cluster ATA

Believing that training and education are the primary tools that equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required for the job market, the Academic Affairs and Training Administration was integrated with training components within Riyadh Second Health Cluster in early 2020. This initiative aimed to enhance employee’s professional growth according to high-quality standards and continuously supply departments and institutions with well-qualified and trained professionals. Through the Education and Training Portal, the Academic Affairs and Training Administration has focused on all aspects of training and development, from preparation and study to implementation, utilizing the latest technologies to deliver comprehensive training programs to the widest possible audience within Riyadh Second Health Cluster and across the Kingdom, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. The department has attracted top experts and consultants to contribute to training development, preparing employees and graduates to reach the highest academic and professional levels. It also offers solutions, consultations, and training services to keep pace with medical, technical, and administrative advancements. These efforts are facilitated through the Learning Center, Academic Studies, Professional Development, and Simulation Center. The Simulation Center is distinguished by its Third Advanced Open Skull Base Dissection Workshop, the first advanced surgical workshop using cadavers conducted within Ministry of Health institutions, in collaboration with the Saudi Association of Neurological Surgery. The cluster also employs 3D printing technology to create innovative training models and cost-effective alternatives, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals. Additionally, virtual reality (VR) technology is used to accelerate training processes, allowing trainees to practice a wide range of tasks within Riyadh Second Health Cluster facilities.
