Riyadh Cricket Association - Saudi Arabia

Riyadh Cricket Association was formed in the Year 1980 for Central region cricketing activities in Riyadh, since its formation it has been successful in bringing cricket as a game of sports among the Saudis and Expatriate working in the region which was only possible by the support of RCA Patron in Chief HRH Dr. General Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. RCA is associated with Saudi Cricket Center which is affiliated with International Cricket Council since 2003. RCA is a non-political and non-profit organization which has always been at the forefront to spread the game while promoting youth and by competing hard. The members of the RCA comprise players from all walks of life encompassing doctors, engineers, bankers, corporate managers, cricketers etc. Every year RCA cricket teams are increased in numbers and at present RCA has 30 teams participating in the League in different tournaments. RCA with its perception of promoting cricket at the grass root level will develop a Cricket Academy where the youth cricketers will be trained by specialist through structured coaching programme. Major RCA Tournaments are T20 Overs, 40 Overs, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Trophy, 10 overs, Inter Regional event between RCA and other Regional Association & Interschool for the youth. RCA Interschool event is also a platform on which maximum opportunity is provided to the youth to play cricket by representing their schools. Our Aims and Objectives. Our aim is to retain our status as one of the top & pre-eminent cricket association of Saudi Cricket Center. This desire to become the association of choice in our catchment area means that we must continually push the boundaries of excellence at Riyadh Region. RCA has a need to have the support of individuals within the association, and invariably this relies on the hard work of a number of key individuals.
