Founded in 1823, and operating as a manufacture of machined and fabricated products since the 1940s, Robert Cort is a highly respected British valve manufacturer with a worldwide reputation for supplying high quality pipeline valves, scotch yoke actuators and pressure protection systems to the oil and gas industry. Working from our manufacturing site in Reading, UK we have a full range of welding and production equipment, enabling us to provide a full manufacturing services including coded welding, machining, pressure testing and in-house printing. The Cort range of valves have earned an enviable reputation for quality, reliability and long service life by serving in some of the most arduous locations in the world for many decades. Our pipeline valves are designed and manufactured to International standards and to major oil & gas end-user specification - we currently hold the following accreditations: • API 6D Monogram License Number: 6D-0061 • API Q1 • BS EN ISO 9001:2000 • Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and have manufacturing facilities which are fully supported by qualified independent mechanical and non-destructive testing specialists.
