Robert Nichol and sons are Architects in Collingwood. We are Brett Robertson and David Nicholson (plus Daisy the Jack Russell). We’ve been around for more than 20 years.
We work out of a small shared office in Collingwood which suits our business well and ties us to the community. It allows us to work small so we can get to know our clients even better.
Usually we work across a few homes a year, and one or two non-residential projects where the client shares our principles.
Our approach to design is to focus on the things that matter, the things that make us happy; wellness architecture, sustainability, yoga, all things food, keeping fit, our dogs, visiting amazing places and contributing to the community.
We are not like a lot of other architects and we don’t try to be. We love what we do and believe the process, the journey and the final result should bring pleasure.
