I guide some of the most leading international companies in making the digital transformation. Leveraging design and technology as a catalyst for change and transformation. I do this through giving lectures, concept development, developing strategy or all of the prior combined with companies like:
Vodafone, RTL, Marktplaats, Ebay, Heineken Global, Liberty Global
As a sought out international speaker on subjects like, VR, AR and the impact of technology. I try to guide my audiences into embracing technology, but with a critical view, just like I try to maintain myself. Prior speaking engagements have been at:
SXSW (Texas), MIT (Boston), Yonsei University (Seoul), Kaist, (Seoul), TEDx(Utrecht), Dutch Design Week (Eindhoven), Next conference (Hamburg), ICEC (Trondheim)
My experience in design and technology has been gathered from the field, through my own independent practice and from building the concept and creation department from the ground up at the technology company: Triple. (Of course all together with the team). This has taught me a thing or two about successes and failures in (radical) innovation and the implementation of it.
I have always been exploring digital worlds and am no stranger to them, as an artist I started exploring virtual worlds (of computer games) and photographing them back in 2007. I took to the outskirts of the digital worlds. These photographs have brought me all around the world with exhibitions ranging from the Media biennial in South Korea to Centre Pompidou, Paris.
