The RoboDucky, it's designed to enhance and extend the capabilities of lifeguards by combining the ease of use of traditional rescue equipment with the speed of high-powered rescue craft without a lengthy deployment time.
It has a sitting duck mode which is a GPS station hold. This enables a lifeguard to deploy it at the start of the day and park it behind the surf ready to be mobilised instantly. The RoboDucky gives lifeguards a headstart in a rescue.
The RoboDucky can travel at over 35 kilometres an hour and a has been able to tow multiple people weighing over 270kg all while being fully operational by just one remote person. Its durable soft hull protects its internal components and can comfortably navigate through 12 foot surf with ease.
