Robotics Education Centre (REC) is an educational institution that trains children from kindergarten to high school from 4-18 years of age. The students develop their creativity and imagination by using robots as tools / instructional media which includes the introduction of shape, color arrangement, fine motor, mechanics, logical thinking, and introduction of technologies that exist in everyday life. REC is located at Komplek Gading Bukit Indah Blok P No. 12, Jl. Artha Gading Raya, Kelapa Gading - North Jakarta. As the rapid development of education and the increased demand from the parents, REC which was initially developed to provide learning for children from elementary to high school in centres, currently REC also provides lessons for kindergarten children where they will be introduced in an early age to count, dimensions, building structure, and arrangement of colors. This is because the curriculum of REC is believed to stimulate some important aspects in the development of children's early childhood. Not only the academic aspects such as dimensions, logic, and creativity, but also the non-academic aspects, children are also trained to be discipline, to concentrate, to socialize, and cooperate in resolving any challenge given, and maximize the development of fine motor skills. Robotics is a course which is right for children aged 4-18 years with a maximum of 5 students in a class who are accompanied by one teacher. All the equipment is provided by REC. This course is held once a week for 90 minutes. But for Extracurricular / intracurricular it will be held once a week for 45 - 60 minutes. REC does not only conducts a course, but also provides opportunities for students to participate in the Robotics competition from regional level (Robotics Regional Competition), National (Robotics National Competition & Indonesian Robotics Olympiad) to International (World Robotics Olympiad).
