ROC Stop Seizures

ROC Stop Seizures is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to raise awareness for those with Epilepsy and for Veterans with Battle Induced Seizure Disorders. In October 2022, ROC Stop Seizures' CEO, a Veteran with Epilepsy, set out to walk 1000 miles to further the ROC Stop Seizures' mission to raise awareness. The Journey of 1000 Miles sets out to show both children and adults that they do not have to hide or be silent about their conditions. It empowers others to talk about their condition and advocate for their own needs. Most of all, it helps to show that people with Epilepsy or seizures should #neverquit. ROC Stop Seizures continues to provide year round awareness efforts and regular Journey of 1000 Miles events through fundraising efforts, trainings, and outreach.
