Rocha Dance Theater

Rocha Dance Theater is a Brooklyn-based dance company led by artistic director, Jenny Rocha. RDT's work ranges from contemporary dance to vaudeville inspired dance. Rocha has created over 50 works and 10 evening-length productions for her company since 2001. Her choreography has been presented by numerous venues in New York City such as Danspace Project, Joyce Soho, LaMama ETC, Galapagos Art Space, 92nd Street Y and more. Currently, Jenny is a resident artist at Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO Brooklyn where her vaudeville dance group "Jenny Rocha & Her Painted Ladies" performs weekly as part of their "Floating Kabarette". As an artist, she is dedicated to creating provocative dance that is both artistic and entertaining, with a wide appeal to general audiences.
