We develop robust sensor systems for cutting machines in the mining and special building industries, which enable to "see" differences in rock hardness immediately while cutting. We also take care that these machines can detect critical wear conditions on their tools themselves. This enables selective cutting excavation, which in turn helps to make mining less hungry for ressources and less damaging to the environment, while increasing economic efficiency of mining worthy raw materials even from smaller or more sensitive deposits. We make existing mine works mor efficient, as machines can be running with less disruptions for inspecting tools health or for repairs of broken pick holders. This way Rockfeel contributes to environmental protection and reliable delivery of raw materials for many essential industries. Furthermorem our sensors shall also detect weak rock early, making tunneling with road headers more safe and efficient.
