Rockwell Development Center is a company that derives its experience and expertise through its staff members. Each staff member shares our vision of providing quality services to individuals with mental illness. Our dedicated staff members have a cumulative experience of over 30 years in criminal justice, education, mental health, and nursing.
Our vision for growth includes providing other supportive client services to meet individual and community needs. Our intent is to develop and provide residential, individual, group, and family counseling services that benefit the each client, family, and community we serve.
Rockwell Development Center is devoted to empowering children and adolescents to achieve recovery from mental health behavioral symptoms through intensive support, structure, guidance, and goal achievement.
We intend to partner with each child, and their family, to identify individual needs and build upon the strengths and skills that each child has.
We are committed to supporting our clients and families through assisting with the successful reintegration of our clients back into their homes and communities.
We are dedicated to supporting our employees by providing them with the necessary skills, training, and tools to effectively provide the most therapeutic care available.
Rockwell Development Center facilities are conveniently located in Mooresville just outside of Davidson in close vicinity to Interstate 77 and Highway 115. We have three homes; Stickney House, Whalen House, and Helms House located near each other offering various therapeutic and program opportunities.
