Rocky Mountain Oracle User Group, (RMOUG) is the official, 503c non-profit, user group community for technical education and scholarship, focused on database technology. Run primarily by volunteers, this user group is one of the largest in North America, serving the greater Denver area and beyond to support the current database professionals with the largest, annual, grass roots technical conference in the US, quarterly events and scholarships to support the next generation of technologists.
The annual conference brings the best of the best speakers in the Oracle community to Denver each February to present, offering local professionals training sessions and to network with top experts in the fields of database, development, application and emergent technologies.
The user group publishes a quarterly newsletter that can be found on the RMOUG website, (http://rmoug.org/newsletter) with new content not found anywhere else.
The key focus of the user group is to support and sustain the long term scholarship fund for the future of technologists in the Rocky Mountain Area. We provide formal scholarships for Computer Science education and a special Women in Technology scholarship. Information can be found on the RMOUG website.
