Founded in May of 1990 and based in downtown Coral Gables, the firm’s portfolio of work is varied in nature including Education, Office, Retail, Hospitality and Institutional projects. The firm has specialties in K-12 schools, Hotels and Restaurants and our reach is regional. Rodriguez Architects, Inc. is a full service architectural firm. Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning, and Facility Planning services are offered, “in house.” Engineering disciplines are offered using professional consultants, most of which have been affiliated with our firm for over ten (10) years. Firm principal, Mike Rodriguez, FAIA, has extensive construction experience which informs the firm’s designs and supports our continued success; the firm has successfully completed various Design/Build projects and is available to provide Construction Administration and Project Management services. Firm members are experts in several specialty areas and offer consultation and expert witness services on the American with Disabilities Act, The Florida Building Code, Continuing Education for Professional Licensing and the State of Florida’s Architect’s Practice Act. Our offices are centrally located in downtown Coral Gables, at 2121 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Suite 1010, within easy access to all areas of Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties, which are our primary geographic service areas, although the firm’s practice is of a “regional” scope and extends to the Caribbean and throughout the State of Florida. In addition to Florida, firm principals are licensed in Georgian, South Carolina and Alabama. Rodriguez Architects, Inc. is wholly owned by Hispanic-American persons with minority certifications.
