When we started Rogue Recruitment, we made the deliberate decision to be different. There was no point to starting yet another staffing agency in Tulsa unless we could do something remarkably distinctive. From that, we stemmed from two major core beliefs: honest, candidate-centric recruitment and enhancing our community.
As we approached our one year anniversary, we spent some time evaluating how we had been upholding on our commitments to Tulsa.
While we are technically a staffing company, if that's all we are, we have utterly failed. We’re not in the transactional business of filling seats; we’re here to enhance our community. We’ll do that by using the recruitment business as a platform for what we’re passionate about.
Rogue wants to enhance our community by contributing to the bigger picture, not just funneling money out of state to some shareholder who couldn’t even point Tulsa out on a map. We’re not here to pretend to care about our city by being the “pizza sponsors” for various Meetups; we want to do actual good to make a difference.
That’s why we have started Rogue Response, a non-profit sister organization to Rogue Recruitment. We want to conquer issues that the government and social sector are too reactive to enact true change. This is our city, and it’s time we stop thinking, “Someone else will take care of that; it’s not my problem.”
