From its humble beginnings, Roky Plast S.A.L has become a leading provider of state-of-the-art plastic products. Founded by Mr. Robert el-Khoury in 1988 with a 60m2 factory, the company aimed to reduce pollution and protect natural resources through plastic recycling. As demand for its products grew, Roky Plast expanded its factory, covering a 1,000 m2 area in 1994, 2,000m2 in 2002, and 12,000 m2 by 2010. Roky Plast further expanded its operations and began producing raw materials such as PVC and masterbatch. In 2013, ROKYPLAST SAL became the sole agent in Lebanon for IONIAN KALK S.A, a Greek company that mines and processes amorphous calcium carbonate CaCO3. By 2015, it had a production capacity of over 60,000 metric tons a year and introduced newly developed products, the CACO3 compound and masterbatch (MB), to the market in 2016. Today, Roky Plast is a proud member of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists and a leading producer of recycled and raw plastic materials. Its products, including fillers, masterbatch, PVC, waterstop, and all types of recycled plastic, are in demand locally and internationally, with markets in Italy, Greece, Africa, and beyond.
