ABOUT US
Romy is a Hobart-based fashion label founded in 2022 by Creative Director, Emma Petterwood.
Drawing inspiration from architecture, art, and contemporary culture, Petterwood has translated these elements into a ready-to-wear label that creates versatile pieces juxtaposing print and pattern with classics silhouettes, all consciously made from sustainably sourced materials.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe in creating for longevity, valuing the importance of responsible business practices, high-quality fabrications, timeless designs, and making better choices in our daily practices to minimise our social and environmental impact.
The relationships around us define who we are – from our all female, Australia-based team, to our manufacturing partners in China, our retail partners, and the incredible local artists we work with to design our limited-edition prints.
At Romy, we express ourselves through colour, print, and feminine silhouettes, weaving these elements through each collection we create. We are committed to producing small, limited edition runs that are designed to be loved, and worn for years to come.
