Root Atelier

Root Atelier was founded in 2015 by landscape architect F.Begüm Zaimoglu in Kadıköy, Istanbul. Since then, we have been providing integrated and site-specific solutions in the fields of landscape architecture, implementation, maintenance, and consultancy. For us, every project is a living system—shaped by its scale, user profile, and environmental conditions. We design sustainable, functional, and aesthetically balanced outdoor spaces, from gardens and terraces to indoor and outdoor living areas of various scales. Throughout the design process, we consider ecological data, and we plan for implementation and long-term maintenance from the very beginning—ensuring resilient and enduring landscapes. Because we believe that a landscape project should not only serve today, but also nourish the future — just like a root.
