Rooted in Rights

Rooted in Rights tells authentic, accessible stories that empower our community to advocate for disability rights. Our team of filmmakers, designers, writers and communicators produces videos and other creative content exclusively in support of disability rights advocacy. We produce in-house content for our parent organization, Disability Rights Washington, and offer creative services to other organizations that share our values. Our original content includes: A worldwide Storytellers Series featuring videos written, directed and filmed by community members; A blog featuring work from disabled writers from around the world; Short form advocacy videos and social campaigns on cross-disability issues and civil rights; and long from documentaries paired with screenings and community organizing events.
